1. Pricing & Stock

1.1 Pricing on the website includes VAT.
1.2 All prices are subject to change without any prior notification.
1.3 Any personal information or data collected through the use of the website whether by communication, purchase invoicing or customer enquiry as well as in store transactions (governed by these terms & conditions) shall be utilized for the purposes of customer service, internal market research or direct marketing. This information shall not be shared with third parties other than as it relates to customer service and delivery.
1.4 Prices published on the website is only valid for in-stock items and in the event where a product may have sold out prior to it being updated on the website, a new quoted price may apply.
1.5 Over 95% of products advertised on this website are in stock, with only a minority of lines with low or no-stock status.

2.  14-Day Money Back Satisfaction Guarantee

2.1 All Stormfox products are covered by a 14- Day Money Back Satisfaction Guarantee.
2 Should you not be completely satisfied with the product it can be returned for refund.
2.3 The 14-Day period shall be calculated from the date of delivery (date of delivery being the first day).
2.4 Notice of a customer’s intent to return the product/s should be done by no later than day 14.
2.5 Notice should be given to Stormfox by emailing info@stormfox.co.za as well as to the dealer where the product was purchased in writing. It shall be the customer’s prerogative to ensure such notice was in fact received by Stormfox and/or the Dealer. Late notifications will not be honoured.
2.6 Products must be returned in original packaging.  Items damaged or returned without original packaging may be subject to a deduction which shall be determined at the discretion of Stormfox.

3. Black Friday

  • All deals are valid while stocks last and is subject to the availability of allocated stock.
  • Deals shall only be valid for the period advertised.
  • No laybuy payment plans on sale items will be accepted. Payments must be made immediately via Credit Card or EFT to secure the stock. Processing an order on the website does not automatically reserve stock. Stock can only be reserved when payment has been received.
  • Unless otherwise stated, all prices exclude delivery fees. Delivery fees will be added as per normal upon checkout.
  • Delivery of orders shall be handled by contracted third-party couriers and due to the logistical constraints specifically for Black Friday deals may take up to 3 (three) weeks from date of purchase.

4. Product Warranty and Guarantee

4.1 All Stormfox SUP boards are warranted to be free from any manufacturing defect for a period of 12 month from date of purchase.
4.2 This warranty covers the original owner only and may not be assigned. This warranty shall cover private recreational users only and not commercial users (rentals, training centres etc).
4.3 This warranty does not cover ordinary wear and tear or damages resulting from any misuse, alterations or modifications, incorrect storage (i.e storage in damp conditions such as wet board bags), collusions, flat landings, exposure to extreme temperatures.
4.4 Should an exchange be approved as part of a warranty claim and the exact model or board not be available, Stormfox reserves the right to exchange the customer with a board of similar specifications and value.

5. Delivery Charges

5.1 Delivery for all orders is done via selected contracted third party freight and/or courier companies.
5.2 All prices advertised on this website exclude delivery. Delivery charges for each item are listed under each product item.
5.3 Delivery fees shall cover delivery to all major cities and towns and areas generally and/or regularly serviced by our couriers. In the event of far outlying towns, mines, farms or any delivery area whereby the courier service may levy a surcharge on the delivery, the surcharge will first be communicated and cleared with the customer before dispatching the order.
5.4 All orders will only be dispatched once payment is cleared and reflects in our account.
5.5 Deliveries generally take between 5-10 business days from date of dispatch.

6. Receipt & Inspection of Goods

6.1 It is the customer’s responsibility to properly inspect goods delivered.
6.2 Should packaging be visibly damaged a clear note must be made in pen on the courier waybill stating ‘PACKAGING DAMAGED, GOODS NOT CHECKED’.
6.3 Customers should ensure that the correct number of cartons as indicated on the waybill is received before signing the waybill. Note however, that the number of cartons may not correspond to the number of items you have purchased as more than one item may be packaged in a single carton. Only the number of ‘packages’ as indicated on the waybill should be verified before signing for such.
6.4 Once a waybill has been signed without notes being made as to any discrepancies or damages, the signed waybill be considered valid and claims to shortage of packages or damage to packaging will not be accepted.
6.5 Stormfox only guarantees delivery to the delivery address supplied by customer, but will not verify the identity of the person signing for the goods and therefore cannot make guarantee delivery to a specific individual. Any individual present at the delivery address on the date of delivery and accepting the goods shall be considered authorised to receive the delivery on behalf of the customer and responsible to inspect goods in accordance to points 5.1-5.4 above.
6.6 Any discrepancies or damages noted at time of delivery and documented on waybill must be communicated to Stormfox within 24 hours. Goods should be inspected thoroughly by the customer for any damages, or shortage within the first 24 hours, and reported within the same timeframe in writing to Stormfox’s Customer Care Department. Stormfox will not honour claims of damages or shortages if reported at any later stage.

7. Country of domicile

7.1 This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Stormfox chooses its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, 40 Newton Street, Newton Park, 6070.

8. Variation

8.1 Stormfox may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without prior notice.

10. Gift Cards and Vouchers

10.1  Discount coupons are only valid for the period as published.

10.2 Gift cards that have been purchased from Cielo shall be valid for a period of 3 (three) years from the date of purchase in terms of the Consumer Protection Act. Any voucher issued as part of any promotion or by our customer care department in good faith or as part of any compensation, compromise or resolution for any claim, shall only be valid for a period of 6 (six) months from the date of issue.

10.3  Gift cards may not be exchanged for cash. Customers who purchased a gift card and wishes to cancel the purchase must do so within 7 (seven) days from purchase the date.

10.4 Where a refund or part refund has been approved on a promotional item that included a free voucher, the voucher issued will be cancelled. In the event where this voucher has already been redeemed, the value of such voucher will be deducted from any refund amount due to the client.

10.5 Vouchers linked with promotions, shall only be issued where the full advertised price has been paid. If any discount was offered to the client for the specific product, the free voucher shall no longer apply to the product offer. Cielo reserves the right to exclude laybuy orders from any promotion or clearance sale.
